Sauna Safety

Good clean fun

We keep a tidy ship. Please arrive clean and rinse off using the outdoor shower prior to entering the sauna and plunge. Between every booking, we use all-natural cleaners to ensure the sauna interior is clean and completely germ-free. Our cold plunge has an integrated filtration and ozone generation system to ensure a clean plunge.

Suit up, shoes off

A bathing suit makes it easy to hop outside for a cold rinse or plunge. No nudity allowed. Please leave shoes outside of the sauna or in the changing area. We recommend removing all jewelry/watches as metal can heat up when inside the sauna. 

Drink your liquids

Before, during, and after a sauna session is a great time to hydrate. Metal and glass water bottles should be left out of the sauna as these can get hot to the touch. Drugs or alcohol are prohibited. Imbibing at high temps is dangerous and we don’t allow it.

  • Our Petaluma location is at Lakeville Landing Marina at 5684 Lakeville Hwy, Petaluma, CA 94954. Please use caution turning into and out of the venue.

    Our Tomales Bay location is at Nick’s Cove restaurant at 23240 CA-1, Marshall, CA 94940

  • We are by appointment only. Please book online ahead of time to secure your spot.

  • Yes, there is ample parking directly at our location. See parking instructions in your confirmation email.

  • Yes, we have an all gender restroom available to all guests.

  • Yes, bring a towel! A second towel is always good to have, too. It’s helpful for drying sweat and makes a comfortable seat inside the sauna.

  • Yes, we recommend slides or sandals for moving around the venue. Please no footwear inside the sauna.

  • Yes, we have an extra large commercial cold plunge. We typically keep this between 45 and 55 degrees F.

  • Yes, there is a hot water shower for rinsing off.

  • Depending on the sauna you book, most of our saunas fit 6-8 people comfortably.

  • A typical sauna cycle is 2-3 rounds of 10-15-minute intervals in the sauna. Between intervals, cool down outside the hot room. We recommend a rinse using the outdoor shower or a plunge in the ice bath.

    Every body is different. Listen to yours and decide when enough is enough.

  • When booking, we are reserving that time slot exclusively for you:

    • For full refunds: cancel 96 hrs before session start time (Private events require 7 days)

    • For 50% refunds: cancel 48hrs before session start time

    • Cancellations made less than 48hrs before your session are non-refundable

    • All refunds incur a 3% fee to cover payment processing fees from Square

  • If you are sick and unable to attend your session, please stay home. We can transfer your reservation to someone of your choosing. If the booking is not transferred, the cancellation policy still stands.
