In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of indigo dying while creating a large versatile silk piece (42”x70”) that works great as a sauna towel, throw, sarong, and light travel companion. Margaret from Seelie Studio will guide you through how to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind design.
While your piece is drying, unwind in Sundrop’s outdoor bathhouse by cycling between the sauna, cold plunge, outdoor showers, and outdoor lounge.
All materials, including silk, dyes, and snacks, are provided. Restrooms and changing spaces are provided at the venue.
What you should bring:
Comfortable dark clothing (expect some indigo dye splatters)
Bathing suit
Slides or flip-flops
Robe (optional)
Note: Indigo dye may stain fingernails. Dish gloves and aprons will be available.
